Chemical Additives

1. CDT provides a wide range of chemical additives that are used in different applications and for different purposes.

• 2. These additives are both for the treatment of FEED (HFO, FO, Used Oil, VR) & YIELD (Diesel / Gasoil)
• 3. Our technical experts work mutually and closely with our clients to ensure the proper selection and optimum application for each additive in order to meet the requirements of our client based on the quality of the fuels they produce.
• 4. Under each of the categories listed below, there is a range of products. Selection is based on the quality of the treated fuel and the specific requirements of the yield defined by our clients.

Additives Types

Cetane Number Improver (CNI)

CDT offers a special additive to improve the Cetane Number of Diesel. The target is to get a diesel fuel of high Cetane Number which will economically enhance the engine performance with environmental benefits. The benefits of CNI include: Reduce white smoke during warm up, Shorten ignition delay, Improve cold start, Reduce emissions (HC, CO, NOx and PM), Reduce engine noise, Reduce fuel consumption.

Additives for paraffinic & Asphaltenic Fuels

CDT offers Octane Number Improver which is used in low concentrations to provide refiners with increased flexibility in meeting gasoline octane
